Hi-Line’s Plan

With the environment at the core of our company values Hi-Line recognise the importance of making a commitment to reduce or carbon footprint. We have teamed up with MyCarbon to provide us with a transparent calculation of our footprint and provide guidance to ensure our reporting and target to become carbon neutral are realistic. MyCarbon’s mission is to provide a way of enabling people who wish to help the environment to do so through a cost effective, simple to use platform in association with Gold Standard.

Below is a copy of our most up to date greenhouse gas inventory report. This report was completed by MyCarbon. The greenhouse gas inventory report covers all scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions for Hi-Line in accordance with ISO14064-1. Our full organisational carbon footprint is calculated within this report including all offices and lease assets.

During the coming months Hi-Line will set out and publish our greenhouse gas reduction strategy and SBTi (Science Based Targets) scope.

We believe in using SBTi targets to provide a clearly defined pathway for our company to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Targets are considered ‘science-based’ if they are in line with what the latest climate science deems necessary to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement – limiting global warming to well-below 2◦C above pre-industrial levels and pursuing efforts to limit warming to 1.5◦C.
