Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work with Forestry Commission recommended +F elements

This one day course covers the the full Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work syllabus of:

  • Responsibilities and reporting
  • Assessment of the situation
  • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
  • Basic hygiene in First Aid
  • Burns
  • Epilepsy
  • Resuscitation
  • Anatomy
  • Minor injuries
  • Bleeding control
  • Choking
  • Shock

Plus the Forestry Commission +F recommended units of:

  • Catastrophic bleeds
  • Crush Injuries
  • Lyme Disease
  • Extremes of hot / cold including hypothermia

 

The course is delivered by an experienced arborist and first aid instructor.

The course is held outside in a woodland in the Exeter area.
