  • South of England Arborist Climbers / Drivers C1 B+E

  • Trainee Arborists

    Would you like to become a qualified tree surgeon and start your new career with a successful arboricultural company? We have an exciting and unique opportunity for four trainee arborists to join us in full time positions across the South West.  The successful applicants will join our fast track utility arborist trainee programme in Exeter and will be provided with the necessary training and assessments required to work as a utility arborist climber.  On completion of the trainee programme, and on non-training days during the programme, you will join one of our experienced arb teams. The successful candidates will need to be available for all training dates between 21st June 2019 and 12th August 2019 and will need to be able to make their own way to our training centre in Exeter. Interviews will take place on the 7th and 8th May 2019 and short-listed candidates will then be invited to an assessment day on the 14th May 2019. Starting salary for this role will be £17,160 per annum which will be reviewed on completion of the fast track training programme. We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking candidates who have a passion for outdoor work, a high level of fitness and a keen interest in arboriculture. A full driving license must be held.

  • Apprentice

    Would you like to become a qualified tree surgeon and start your new career with a successful arboricultural company?

    Here at Hi-Line, at the core of our values and strategies lie our people, the community and the environment. We strongly believe that people are our most valuable assets and we are now looking for an apprentice to join us from September 2019.

    The apprenticeship is run by Cornwall College over a 2-year period. You will learn on the job from experienced professionals and, at the same time, have block weeks dedicated to study, working towards a qualification with a view to gaining experience for a career in Tree Surgery. Full commitment to the training program is required as well as willingness to learn new skills.

    The ideal candidate must have a passion for outdoor work and a genuine interest in arboriculture. Also, due to the type of the job, a high level of fitness is required. A full driving licence is mandatory.
