  • Ecology

We are committed to caring about wildlife and appreciate how important it is to have an understanding of the species that we might encounter and our legal and moral obligations to protect them.

Our ecologists provide an essential service, ensuring that we carry out our work in a sensitive and wildlife-friendly manner. Producing ecological reports and method statements and supervising work on sensitive sites.

Our work takes us into places where we are likely to encounter protected species such as nesting birds, dormice, bats and badgers. Our ecologists carry out surveys of sensitive sites and provide guidance and supervision to ensure that all wildlife is protected from harm and disturbance.

In terms of raising awareness, our ecologists provide in-house and external training and regular information bulletins.
