  • Utility Arb Surveyors

    We would like to receive applications from qualified and experienced surveyors and currently have vacancies in Devon, Avon & Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire.

    For these roles we require a minimum of a Level 3 Arboriculture qualification.

  • Railway Surveyor

    We would like to receive applications for the post of railway surveyor to work on our tree inspection contract with Network Rail.

    The role will involve inspection of vegetation along rail routes and requires candidates who are self motivated, qualified to Level 3 or above in arboriculture and able to work alone.  Due to the nature of the work a good level of fitness is required.

    We are ideally looking for sub-contractors but would also welcome applications from those looking for directly employed positions.

    Candidates will require:

    PTS and IWA qualifications
    Experience of working in DCCR
    Good understanding of the Sentinel system & how to use the app
    Good knowledge of using track locator
    A full UK driving licence
    Level 3 or above arboriculture qualification
    Excellent planning, organisational skills and IT skills
    Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
    First aid

  • Arboricultural Consultant

    This is a multi-faceted role in which you will be responsible for providing Hi-Line, its employees and its clients with expert technical information and arboricultural advice.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Surveys, Reports and Assessments

    Working to our Company Policies and structure at all times 

    Preferred Skills

    The post holder will be required to have the following:

    • A full UK driving licence
      • A minimum of 5 years industry experience (consultancy)
      • Advanced tree identification and diagnostic skills
      • Excellent knowledge of pruning principles and techniques
      • Relevant industry qualifications to a minimum of HND Arb or Level 4 (or working towards)
      • Report writing
      • Competent in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), AutoCAD

  • South of England Arborist Climbers / Drivers C1 B+E

    We would like to receive applications from qualified and experienced arborists and currently have a number of vacancies in Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire.

    We are also looking to recruit drivers holding C1 and B+E licences, ideally holding basic chainsaw or MEWP tickets.
